Everyone they ever knew now believes they are dead. Their families have been attacked. The world is on the verge of being destroyed.
Still reeling from the consequences of the fatal umbrae ambush, Layna and Blake are mobilized to Athens, Greece with the rest of the Naut recruits. Homesick and heartbroken, Layna’s only comfort in her imperiled new life is her friendship with Blake. But even he can’t diffuse the air of dread that blankets their days. How could anyone prepare to fight a primordial darkness that is fated to bring about the end of the universe?
As the recruits train deep underground in the ancient, buried city of Oneiropolis, the Consulate searches for a way to weaponize the Order. The Nauts of Earth are the last hope. The final barricade. The only ones standing between Erebus and the unmaking of reality itself. Their sole chance of success is to decipher the truth behind the hidden stanza of the Phantom’s Prophecy.
A memory buried in Layna and Blake’s subconscious minds might just hold the answer.
